Tour Updates

Above is a video of Rustic Overtones performing Crash Landing from their set Thursday night, at Revolution Hall. I was able to film three other songs as well, Carnival, Iron Boots, and a unique rendition of Letter to the President capping the evening.

As their extended tour down the East Coast winds down, so have things around here, and finally found some time to add all the fresh pictures, videos and setlists.

So far each date has had at least some brief notes, varying to setlists with full, detailed summaries. Head to the index to see what you missed.

The gallery has some recent additions, from their shows at the Santa Fe Cafe and the Gravity Lounge (thanks to Forum member rusty covertones) as well as pictures to accompany a few videos from Revolution Hall. Also added to the gallery are some photos from their first show of 2008, at Sunday River.

I thought it was a weak show at Rev Hall.

Maybe just one bad nite, maybe they are past their peak form.

I dunno

@ #1, some have said it was one of the best shows they've been to. maybe you didn't like it but "maybe they are past their peak" is a bit of a stretch. everyone is entitled to their opinion though, esp. anonymously on the internet.

@ #2, check out the forum, there's a link to the review of the entire album as well as a healthy discussion, on the song as well as the the blog you pointed out.

Gotta tell you I find that "Letter to the President" song just wrong. As a 46yr old vet heading to the sandbox for his second tour, Your song is nothing but demoralizing, thanks. I can't believe you guys make money from this song. Your song only serves the smug, self- riteous people that can't be bothered to help the poor American sailor, soldier or airman in the fighting positions risking their lives every day for YOU! Thanks again
